“Adidas Originals” — Motion Identity Study
This motion graphic, titled Adidas Originals, was created as an exploration of the brand’s modern identity through movement, rhythm, and visual texture. The concept draws inspiration from the clean sportiness of Adidas’ iconic Superstar line and the refined simplicity of their colorways. The goal was to translate that sense of sleek design and athletic heritage into motion—something that feels both classic and progressive.
The piece uses a combination of motion, opacity shifts, and design transformations to highlight the brand’s forward-thinking aesthetic. Each transition was crafted to feel fluid and intentional, echoing the precision and flow of movement found in sport. The pacing builds a sense of anticipation and release, allowing the visuals to breathe while maintaining a dynamic energy throughout.
Minimalism was key to maintaining the Adidas Originals tone—every element serves a purpose, and every motion is guided by clarity. The result is a motion study that balances style and substance: smooth, confident, and true to the brand’s timeless yet evolving design language.
